About Ulster University Athletics

Ulster University Athletics Club (UUAC) is a growing club and open to those who hope to compete or simply participate in Athletics. Each year, members are able to attend weekly training sessions, socialise, make friends and have the opportunity to compete several times throughout the season.

The pinnacle of University Athletics is the World University Games held every 2 years.

Ulster University Athletics Club has produced several International athletes who went on to compete for Northern Ireland, Ireland and Great Britain. Some of these include;

James McIlroy - 800m (Olympic Games/World Championships/Commonwealth Games)

Amy Foster - 100m (World University Games/Commonwealth Games/European Championships)

Victoria Jamison - 400m Hurdles (World Championships/European U23 Championships)

Adam McMullen - Long Jump (World University Games/European Indoor Championships)
